Prince Pieter-Christaan van Oranje-Nassau of the Netherlands came by a Harlem Lacrosse practice to see Up2Us Sports in action. Pieter-Christaan sits on the Laureus global board and is in New York City to run his 10th NYC marathon. He had a chance to speak with Up2Us Sports coach, Eoin Collins, about the team and observe the practice. The kids at Harlem Lacrosse were excited to "Meet a Prince" and took turns shaking his hand and telling them what it meant for them to be a part of the team. Pieter-Christaan was not familiar with the sport of lacrosse and was happy to learn about the sport and receive a coaching session. Laureus USA is a national sponsor of Up2Us Sports and a leader in the sport for good movement. With their support, Up2Us Sports can provide coach-mentors to Harlem Lacrosse.
