Join us for the April edition of the Up2Us Sports Lunch and Learn Series with Dr. RJ Gibbs.

Dr. RJ Gibbs is Program Evaluation Specialist for Michigan State University Extension in the Health and Nutrition Institute. His role is to provide guidance on program reporting and data validation, as well as develop program reports for local, state, and federal entities for all of our community nutrition and physical activity-related programming throughout our 80+ counties in Michigan.

Dr. Gibbs has a PhD from Michigan State University in Kinesiology with a cognate in sports nutrition. His areas of interest and research include coach and athlete education, long-term athlete development (LTAD), psycho-social aspects of sports and physical activity, adolescent nutrition and physical activity behavior change through sport participation, sports performance, and reducing childhood obesity.
