Up2Us Sports has announced the addition of lightweight boxer Damon Allen Jr. to their group of athlete ambassadors. The 24-year old Philadelphia native has gone undefeated since turning pro, currently holding an 11-0-1 record with 5 KO’s. Damon had a decorated amauteur career, amassing 210 fights. He is a six-time national champion, was ranked #1 nationally in the lightweight category and participated in the 2011 Olympic Trials. He burst into the professional circuit in 2013, winning five fights in his first year as a pro then signing with Oscar De La Hoya’s Golden Boy Promotions.
Allen is excited to represent Up2Us Sports nationally, as well as in his hometown of Philadelphia, to help spread the message of the power of positive role models for youth. He says, “my mission is to always give back to my community and my city. I believe personal success and growth lies in having good role models, working hard, and fighting for what is right. I truly enjoy being a role model for children and teens and try to make a difference in their lives through the art of boxing and training.”
His next fight is scheduled for Friday, June 30th at Fantasy Springs Resort and Casino in Indio, California.
